We are very proud of the heritage and culture that has continuously evolved since 1856.  Our campus has served in many capacities over the last 153 years.  I am happy to report that with the completion of 2010 Ezzell School has accomplished EXEMPLARY status for the third straight year.  This, under persistent stringent requirements and standards set forth by the Texas Education Agency.   This marvelous outcome is no doubt due to the hard work of students and teachers with support from parents/caregivers, other family members, School Board Members, volunteers and staff.  All of us at Ezzell School are committed to providing the best campus environment for our students.  Although it is important to celebrate our recent success, we do not rest for long on past accomplishments.  We keep our focus by constantly seeking new ways to communicate with parents, caregivers, other family members and the community.   By ensuring that all stakeholders know what is happening on our campus, we can build on our strong partnership.  We continuously seek out the most current methods to help students learn so that they will be prepared for the future in the twenty-first century.  By assessing our curriculum and instruction, extracurricular activities we will provide the best rounded education for our students.  Last but certainly not least, we aim to provide the best possible classroom environment so students have fun and learn at the same time.  These beliefs are the foundation of our success as an Exemplary campus. Our foundation is strong, having stood for over 153 years continuously building generations of excellence.

We are very proud of our new Pre-K 4 program.  Ms. DeForest brings 20 years of experience and will be working with the Pre-K 4 and Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year.  We invite you to call for more information.

We are proud of the generations that have attended EZZELL and of the staff that make the school a special place where students are the priority.  Our teachers and staff provide over 125 years of experience.  Our teacher assistants work right alongside our teachers to ensure extra support is available for students in need.  Ezzell office staff is the backbone of our smooth operations and Mustang Café workers diligently provide great food and a positive environment where students can eat and socialize as part of their education.  Bus drivers are an important key to attendance and ensure that students arrive at school and return home safely daily, no small task especially in all kinds of weather.
